"G-force" is a movie about highly trained team of guinea pigs running around and saving the world.
My rating:
The characters:
The government has a secret program and trains animals as special agents. One night a team made of three guinea pigs, a mole and a fly brakes into a home of a kitchen appliance company owner and downloads his plans for conquering the world.
Since the government decides to save some money, the training program needs to be shut. The guinea pigs' trainer tries to prove the value of keeping the program by showing the stolen documents. But there is a virus in the computer and he fails.
Guinea pigs and the mole manage to escape from the F.B.I. agents who came to pick them up, but instead of being free they end up in a pet shop.
That is where all the fun starts. The G-force team meets another guinea pig and a crazy hamster in the shop. By the way, Hurley and little crazy Bucky are my favorites.
The team decides to prove their worth and plan to escape the pet shop. While Speckles gets thrown in the garbage truck and Juarez and Blaster get adopted, Darwin and Hurley really get some action. They are fighting kitchen appliances, hiding from dogs, while all the time running away from F.B.I. agents who want to cancel the program.
The plan is to get the team back together and save the world. Do you think they will make it?
I liked this movie. What I loved about it the most is the combo of real-life actors and animated animals. The movie is so funny at times and at the same time full of small pet action, driving and escaping dangers. I recommend this movie for the whole family. You will have fun watching it. Still, don't forget it is rated PG.
Parents, please don't let your kids persuade you to get a guinea pig after watching this movie. If you have never considered having a pet, this is not the time to get one. Getting a pet on a whim ends bad.
Before you get a pet, do some reading and inform yourself about all that pets need to be happy. It is usual for people to start buying and adopting certain pets after watching movies about them...remember how Lassie triggered big shopping spree of Collies?
If you are not sure what having a pet means and how much work it involves, maybe you are not ready to have one. But if, after all considerations, you think it would be great to have a guinea pig, check our guinea pigs for adoption page.
